The clubhouse consists of a warm and inviting dining room, reading room and bar area which is air-conditioned in the warm summer months and opens out onto a paved terrace with sliding glass doors in the winter months. The clubhouse’s dining facilities is open from 0900 to 2200 daily. The Club has a Marina for cruisers, a launching beach for dinghies, a family beach for anyone who is not sailing, and an excellent clubhouse with a licensed restaurant and lounge bar. DOSC also has a dinghy park and boatyard, a launching slipway, wash down area and members’ workshop facilities, as well as a bosun’s store for some of the more common dinghy parts.
For yachts and small keelboats there is a 150 berth marina with electrical connections and fresh running water. Within the protection of the harbour wall the marina offers a fantastic back drop for a relaxing sundowner after a hard day’s sail. The club slip way facilitates the smaller keelboats who wish to trailer sail or those that need a little maintenance. The hard offers the space and convenience to store your boat while essential maintenance is carried out.
There is an extensive paved dinghy park leading to a wash down area, slipway and launching beach all within the protection of the harbour wall. The members’ workshop and sail store means you can focus on keeping your dinghies up to peak performance. The Sailing Department has a small boson store to buy those essential bits and pieces to keep boats on the water.
The club boasts a private beach with rustic style bar and children’s grassed play area, with The Ten Tola bar open to functions throughout the cooler periods of the year.
