It is time to use your cold water taps for hot water and your hot water taps for cold water… the only place in the world I know that we do this.. the heat has cometh.

Tuesday night pursuit race times are up on the board as well as the course and a sign on sheet, please don’t forget to sign off…

The buffet for tonight is an Asian Fusion collection inside the club house as well as the draw ~ the new summer menu will be out shortly but as of now the pie and gravy and bachelor menus are on the floor.

The big news is there are three days to go before the kick off to the World Cup Soccer in South Africa with the inaugural game at Football stadium between South Africa and Mexico starting at 1800 and will be screened in the club house. ALL THE GAMES will be screened at DOSC, come on down and support your teams, beer and wine on specials, quick meals or big meals available and Amarula bean bags scattered around to flop into and support your team.

The Commodore and Committee have voted unanimously to present Mr. David May and his wife with Life Time memberships for the dedicated work he has given to the club whilst serving on the committee. A dinner will be held in their honor at the start of the sailing seasons in September, all welcome.

MEMORANDUM

From    : Commodore Dubai Offshore Sailing Club

To        : All Members and Guests

Subject            Outstanding Food and Beverage Accounts.

Unfortunately once again, the monies outstanding on Food and Beverage Accounts has become unacceptably high.

Having reviewed the situation in some detail, the Committee and I have unanimously agreed to the following; All F&B accounts that have monies owing for greater than 60 days must be settled in full within ten [10] days from 08th June 2010. Failure to do so will result in suspension of membership until such time as the outstanding is settled.

We recognize that some members and guests are out of the country – in such circumstances, we are prepared to grant leniency upon proof of travel and will accept payment up until the last day of June 2010. Any late payments must be paid directly to the Club Manager who will ensure receipts are issued against payment and membership is reinstated.

The Committee and I look forward to your full cooperation in this matter.

P.S. The Live Winter Rugby Tours will be screened at the club on Saturday.
