Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 18:11 Hello all from the Crows Nest ~ the MOTH world championship is now a thing of the past and all that is left to say is a big thank you to all volunteers, organizers, sailors and sponsors alike ~ well done to you all.
The accumulator night along with a carvery will be on tonight and the commodores cup SB3 and dinghies is on this weekend with the laser league on Saturday.
The function that was planned for Thursday evening at the TT bar area has been cancelled, if there are any members who were looking for a venue and were told the location was booked for Thursday please call 0505582483, we may be able to accommodate you.
As the season closes down the planning for the May Ball is in full swing ~ there are 300 covers in the ballroom at the Royal Mirage one and only for the Ball and Commodores Cup [only the Commodores Cup and the Long Distance Challenge will be awarded at the ball] prize giving, book your table or reserve a seat at extension 1008.
The dinghy prize giving will take place in the form of a dinner at the TT bar area [BBQ or buffet] on the 21st May at 1830 and the Cruisers season prize giving will take place after the Commodores Cup regatta on the 7th of May.
That’s all from me for now, enjoy the week ~ we hope to see you all over the weekend.
Keith
P.S. please settle the outstanding F&B bills as soon as possible ~ the annual audit of your club books is due and can not be done while we have excessive unpaid accounts. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
P.P.S Any member who accidently took home a Puma Bean Bag please return it to the club, 17 of them are missing and the club will have to pay for them, just drop them where you picked them up from. Thanks
