Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 13:52 Good afternoon to you all from a windy and sand-swept club. With the upcoming MOTH worlds taking place from the 5th to the 15th March members are asked to allow the sailors use of the beach area to rig, launch and recover their yachts on a daily basis ~ this implies that swimming and playing on the beach may be dangerous for children and adults alike, please be careful. All members and guests are very welcome to attend at any time.

Starting at 1200 with hopefully an afternoon sail on member’s yachts who are happy to take out new crew for an afternoon sail.
The Maktoum Cup regatta has taken place this weekend with its prize giving tonight at 1800 at DIMC ~ lots of broken and torn sails and a few broken and torn skin but all in all a great weekend of sailing ~ well done to all who took part ~ results next week.
