2010 First One of the Year

Happy New Year to you wherever you are ~ welcome to 2010 and all she holds in store for you. A word of thanks for the fantastic turn out for both the beach area New Years Eve as well as the *Strictly Come Dancing* black tie ~ everyone looked outstanding and warmed the evening away with great food, company and dancing.

January sees a number of events and dinners which will be updated on the web page imminently, but here is a quick breakdown for you all ~

The Bill Nelson Memorial on the 21^st to the 23^rd all times on the web page

Line dancing inside the club house on the 20^th starting at 1930 ~ come and enjoy the night with us here

Dinghy Dinner themed as the Burns Night with all the trimmings of a traditional Burns night food and dinking party, Please book at the cash desk ASAP to avoid disappointment ~ this will be the first Dinghy dinner of 2010 and we look forward to seeing you all for the night.

RAK Dinghy regatta is the weekend of the 21^st and 22^nd all welcome

This weekend is the SB3 and MOTH and Open Dinghy Commodores Cup Autumn Series, prize-giveng at 1800 on the day All info on the web page.

Saturday is the Laser League sponsored by Aggreko ~ this is open to all laser sailors across the GCC and as such all are welcome to join in.

The 15^th January sees the Commodores Cup for the Dinghy’s and the RTW race and the last weekend of the month is the Jumerah Beach Regatta

For those members who are flying back from holidays abroad travel safely and we will see you all down at the club soon, remember the accumulator night is every Tuesday.
